The Parents' Summit holding on Tuesday of the Education Week will bring together parents of school children from across the state for meaningful conversations and deliberations with the government, teachers, and other stakeholders. A key highlight of this event will be the inauguration of 1000 parents into the Parents' Council by H.E. Governor Godwin Obaseki. 

This historic initiative marks the first-ever Parent Council in the state, with members selected from PTA representatives across both public and private basic and secondary schools. The Parents' Council will be responsible for creating education-friendly policies and driving engagement between schools, parents, and the government.
